2018 BMW Motorcycle Price Announcement

BMW Motorrad USA has announced pricing and availability for three of its 2018 models: the K 1600 B, K 1600 GTL and G 310 R. BMW has also released pricing and availability for its 2017 K 1600 GT.

MSRP: $ 19,995

Largely based on the K 1600 GT and GTL, the K 1600 B was developed specifically for American drivers and open American main roads. It features a dramatic linear design towards the rear with a tail section specially designed to reflect the characteristics of an American grand tourer.

This not only gives the bagger a low and slender appearance, but a new rear frame also contributes to this aesthetic by significantly reducing the height of the passenger seat.

• 649cc, 6-cylinder engine: 160 hp / 129 lb-ft.
• Reduced to the essentials with an emphasis on style, an elongated and streamlined profile and potential for customization.

• The rear body of the K 1600 B has been completely redesigned:
• New rear frame (2.8 “lower).

  • Horizontal chrome silencers.

Standard features:

With the exception of a central stand, the bagger is delivered with the same standard equipment as the K 1600 GT:

• 3 driving modes (rain, road and dynamic).

• Integral Pro ABS optimized for cornering.

• Electrically adjustable windshield.

Packages:

The packaging of the bagger is almost identical to that of the K 1600 GT. The only exception is the Touring Pack, which is not yet available on the GT:

• Touring Package (MSRP $ 1,850): Reverse assist and audio system with radio, Sirius, GPS Prep, Bluetooth and radio software. If ordered with the Premium Package, the price of the Touring Package is $ 445 MSRP, as the Premium Package already includes all of this equipment except reverse assist.

A base price increase of $ 1,200 (from $ 24,395 to $ 25,595 MSRP) includes the addition of $ 1,900 in new standard equipment.
