The Keeway cruiser will have styling inspired by the K-Light series sold in select global markets

Benelli India is set to launch its sister brand of motorcycles Keeway with a new cruiser motorcycle. The European-registered motorcycle brand Keeway is also owned by the Chinese Qianjiang Group, the parent company of Benelli. Now, Benelli India has released a teaser video on its social media announcing the launch of a Hungarian motorcycle. Although Keeway has its origins in Hungary, it is now owned by the Chinese group QJ. What we can expect is a 500cc cruiser, with a design based on the existing Keeway K-Light 125, but powered by the 500cc parallel-twin engine that’s used in the Benelli 502C. Prices should be around ₹5 lakh.

The 500cc Keeway cruiser is likely to have a similar design language to the existing K-Light series of Keeway cruisers sold in international markets.

The teaser video released by Benelli India features the text “Hungarian supremacy on the way” hinting that the new bike will indeed likely come from sister brand Keeway. Although the teaser does not reveal which model will be launched, it will most likely be a 500cc cruiser, powered by the same Benelli 500cc parallel-twin engine, developing 46.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 46 Nm of maximum torque at 6000 rpm. . The Keeway 500cc cruiser, however, could share more than the engine with the Benelli 502C, as sharing more components will help Benelli India gain economies of scale in the Indian market.

Abbie Chatfield is rumored to be launching her own fashion label, Verbose the Label

Abbie Chatfield is rumored to be launching her own fashion label, Verbose the Label

Abbie Chatfield has teased fans with a series of provocative snaps – now one fan thinks she’s cracked the code, and it’s very convincing.

Abbie Chatfield has dropped some cryptic clues about her exciting new venture – and a fan has apparently cracked the code.

the old Bachelor The outspoken contestant-turned-influencer, podcaster and radio host teased her 396,000 followers with a series of colorful photos, many of which show her “grabbing her chest”.

The racy and mysterious shots have many wondering, “What’s going on?”

While Abbie is keeping a low profile in the images, which show a range of ‘ribbed’ fabrics on different body types, one woman has shared her compelling theory online.

The Two Broke Chicks TikTok account, run by friends Alex Hourigan and Sally McMullen, shared a video on Monday claiming that Ambassador Myer, 26, is set to launch her own clothing line called Verbose the Label.

“Abbie Chatfield is 100% about to launch her own fashion label. This is how we know,” begins the video, hosted by Alex.

The clip goes on to explain that Abbie had posted a number of images of “brightly colored” clothing on her Instagram along with posts explaining the definition of the word wordy.

Alex also noted that Abbie tagged a newly created Instagram page titled Verbose the Label in one of her posts.

When Alex took a close look at who the fashion brand was following, she made a telling discovery.

“The brand follows one person, and that person is Abbie Chatfield herself, so the Queen is about to launch clothes and that’s where all my money will go.”

Many TikTok users were quick to accept Alex’s theory, saying they had “crossed their fingers it’s true”.

“Please keep it true,” one wrote, while another said, “Can’t wait!!!!”

“Fingers crossed it’s an inclusive size range!” another added.

While one said: “And we all know we’re going to be broke.”

Just hours after the fan theory surfaced online, Abbie was spotted in a secret photoshoot wearing brightly colored clothes similar to those seen on her social media.

In the blink of an eye, Abbie can be seen wearing mustard yellow bike shorts and a matching crop top.

In another, she was pictured in a blue two-piece ensemble, her blonde hair styled in voluminous waves.

Abbie has yet to confirm if the rumors about her clothing brand are true, but she’s had huge success with several fashion and beauty launches she’s done in collaboration with other brands – so it makes sense let her venture alone.

In January, she launched a line of swimwear for busty women with swimwear brand RAQ.

She also had a sold-out collaboration with lingerie store Souszy and created a vibrator with sex toy brand Vush.

More recently, she took her popular radio show on tour, hosting the first A hot night with Abbie Chatfield at the Opera on Saturday to rave reviews.

LiveWire S2 Del Mar LE Price set at Rs 13.67 Lakhs

livewire-s2-del-mar-le-price The design seems inspired by the Sportster S

After scoops and teasers for months, Harley-Davidson’s LiveWire sub-brand has launched the highly anticipated S2 Del Mar LE e-bike for a price tag of Rs. 13.67 lakhs ($17,699).

Being a limited edition model (read LE), production will be reduced to 100 units and reserved only for the American market from now on. It becomes the second electric bike from the American manufacturer placed under the premium One electric bike already on sale.

livewire-s2-del-mar-le-price-front Two colors – Jasper Gray and Comet Indigo are offered

Designed with inspiration from Harley-Davidson’s Sportster S, the S2 Del Mar LE looks smaller than almost the brand’s entire lineup. Available in 2 colors – Jasper Gray and Comet Indigo, the e-bike features minimalist body panels and LED lighting throughout.

The front gets USD forks while the rear looks simplistic with a Ducati Diavel-style tire fender with license plate and a short fender. The electric motorcycle also receives a conventional chain drive. Spoke alloy wheels look fresh with disc brakes on both ends.

livewire-s2-del-mar-le-price-side-view The Del Mar has a claimed range of 100 km

The battery, which is essentially the chassis, also houses the control unit. The swingarm is an asymmetrical unit to add strength and also to accommodate the large rear sprocket in such a compact size.

Built on the brand’s new Arrow EV modular architecture, like the One, the S2 Del Mar LE’s motor and battery are part of the chassis. The rear monoshock is bolted directly to the battery while the swingarm and front fork axles are also connected there.

livewire-s2-del-mar-le-price-ride The electric could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds

This configuration not only makes the overall bike compact, but also contributes to a significant weight reduction. The Del Mar tips the scales at 197 kg.

Although LiveWire did not reveal engine specs, it did claim that the bike will produce over 80 HP with a 0-60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds. The claimed range, however, is a bit low at 100km. The Del Mar supports Level 1 and 2 charging.

LiveWire plans to introduce more such e-bikes in the near future under the “S” label and they could also be bound for India.

livewire-s2-del-mar-le-price-rear The rear gets Ducati Diavel like a tire fender

Just over a few months ago, Harley-Davidson dropped the “LiveWire” name from its only naked electric street, LiveWire One, and named its new electric-only sub-brand with the same name. Thus, LiveWire is now a separate entity under Harley-Davidson.

LiveWire’s One, when launched, had a price tag of around Rs. 23 million. Now, it holds a price tag of Rs. 17 million.

Claudio Caluori becomes ROTWILD brand ambassador.

Together with Claudio Caluori, seven-time Swiss downhill and 4Cross champion, ROTWILD will position e-MTBs even more strongly as high-performance sports devices.

The Swiss rider is not only very familiar with downhill racing as a rider, he was also team manager of the Scott-Velosolutions World Cup team for 11 years and now leads the UCI Pump for Peace – Velosolutions Racing Team based on cross-country.

With this background and especially that as an electric mountain bike enthusiast, the 44-year-old man now spends 95% of his time on an electric mountain bike, Claudio Caluori will make an important contribution to the development of new electric mountain bikes like our pilot of regular trial. Claudio Caluori has gained experience in all areas of riding, especially efficiency, not only in everyday life on trails and bike parks, but also with his own racing format “Neverresting “. In October 2021, he challenged world and Olympic champion Nino Schurter with an electric mountain bike race for a good cause as part of his “Neverresting” project. Claudio Caluori is excited and impatient for the first tests. “Wow, I never imagined working with a bike manufacturer like this after my racing career. I can’t wait to test the performance of the new ROTWILD e-bikes on my local trails. If I don’t answer your e emails in the coming weeks, it’s probably because the bikes are so fun to ride! Many thanks to the ROTWILD team for their enthusiasm and trust in me!”

With his trail construction company Velosolutions, Claudio Caluori is also committed to helping socially disadvantaged people. So he founded Pump for Peace (www.pumpforpeace.com), a global initiative that focuses on building pump tracks, especially in crisis areas. The aim of the initiative is to make cycling and active sports accessible to everyone, regardless of origin, gender, religion or social class, thus promoting a more tolerant future. ROTWILD supports this initiative in several ways, such as building a Pump for Peace track each year. So far, Pump for Peace tracks have been built in Lesotho, South Africa and Israel.

Maud von Hoff, Brand Manager of ROTWILD Bikes, is very enthusiastic about this collaboration. “Claudio is a great asset to the brand, we share the same values. I can’t imagine a better brand ambassador for ROTWILD with his positive attitude, his approach to e-MTB and his social commitment. We have so many projects and ideas.”

A magnificent 1974 MV Agusta 750S

The MV Agusta 750S came out in 1970, it was a superbike the world had been asking for for years, but there was just one catch – it cost almost three times as much as a Honda CB750.

The crown jewel of the MV Agusta 750S was its engine, an advanced inline four-cylinder all-alloy engine with double overhead camshafts, electric starter and unit construction including a 5-speed gearbox. It was one of the most technically sophisticated motorcycles in production at the time of its unveiling.

Quick Facts – The MV Agusta 750S

  • Only 583 examples of the MV Agusta 750S would be built between 1970 and 1975, this was not due to a lack of public interest or desire for the model, but rather its exceptionally high price.
  • MV Agusta had been developing transverse inline-four motorcycle engines since 1950, having poached two of Gilera’s best engineers and faithfully reproduced their race-winning inline-four.
  • The new transverse 500cc inline-four has proven to be just as effective as MV Agusta’s other bikes, helping the Italian company win 270 Grand Prix motorcycle races, 38 World Riders’ Championships and 37 World Riders’ Championships. builders.
  • With its 743cc DOHC inline-four producing 72bhp at 9,200rpm, the 750S had a top speed of 200kph, making it one of the most capable and fastest production superbikes. research of his time.

The four Italian transversals

The real story of the MV Agusta 750S dates back to the 1920s, when two young Italians named Carlo Gianini and Piero Remor developed a 500cc SOHC inline four-cylinder motorcycle engine capable of developing 28 bhp – an astonishing figure for the time.

Dorino Serafini leaned on his 1939 Gilera Rondine. An advanced transverse inline-four with a supercharger and double overhead camshafts capable of over 80 hp.

It wasn’t the first inline-four fitted to a motorcycle, but it was the first to be transversely or laterally bolted. Earlier inline-four motorcycles had them mounted longitudinally, resulting in a long wheelbase and insufficient cooling of the rear cylinders.

Gianini and Remor had proven the concept, but they suffered from a severe lack of funding to continue development. Fortunately, aero-engine builder CNA stepped in and took over the project – developing the engine into a liquid-cooled, supercharged DOHC inline-four, now capable of over 80hp.

Named the “Rondine”, it is said to be the motorcycle engine that propelled 1st and 2nd place finishes in the 1935 Tripoli Grand Prix in Italy.

The Arrival Of Gilera And La Rondine

Shortly after the success of the Rondine-powered motorcycles at the Tripoli Grand Prix, the design was purchased by Guiseppe Gilera of the Gilera motorcycle company.

mv-agusta-750s-14-740x493-1

Perhaps the only flaw in the 750S’s armor was the fact that it came with a shaft drive that wasn’t suitable for racing. Aftermarket kits were available to change it to chain drive if the owner wished.

Gilera engineers developed a modified version of the Rondine engine and continued to compete with it until the outbreak of World War II in Europe in 1939.

After the war a new transverse inline-four was developed from scratch, it was one of the most advanced motorcycle engines in the world at the time and it propelled Gilera riders to a multitude of race and championship victories.

MV Agusta: extraordinary headhunters

In 1949, MV Agusta successfully hired the Gilera team’s chief engine designer and chief mechanic – Piero Remor and Arturo Magni respectively. It was the same Piero Remor who had co-developed the first transverse inline-four in the early 1920s.

It was a major coup for MV Agusta, the pair set out to design a 500cc transverse four that was so similar to their original Gilera design that people were wondering if any parts could be swapped between them.

mv-agusta-750s-1-740x493-1

The MV Agusta 750S has been called one of the finest motorcycles of its time, and it’s not hard to see why.

This new engine has proven itself in competition time and time again, along with the other MV Agusta’s it has helped the company to 270 Motorcycle Grand Prix victories, 38 Drivers’ World Championship victories and 37 World Championship victories. builders.

MV Agusta 750S

For years, Grand Prix motorcycle racing fans have been clamoring for a road-legal production version of the MV Agusta race bikes.

The company had held that back, no one is quite sure why, but the most likely reason seemed to be that they didn’t want privateer racers competing alongside the factory race bikes and possibly beating them.

The company finally acquiesced in 1965, releasing the MV Agusta 600 – a cruiser-style motorcycle fitted with a 600cc version of their famous transverse quad. The bike wasn’t particularly attractive, it certainly wasn’t sporty, and it cost a small fortune.

Sales of the 600 were dismal and in 1970 the company finally gave the motorcycling public what they had always wanted – the MV Agusta 750S.

mv-agusta-750s-10-740x493-1

The four-cylinder engine had four carburettors at the rear of the head and four exhaust manifolds up front, which fed four mufflers.

Now, with its engine bored out to 743cc, the DOHC transverse four-cylinder produced 72bhp at 9,200rpm and had a top speed of 200kph or 120mph. It cost three times the price of the Honda CB750, a Japanese motorcycle that was no doubt inspired by the powerful Italian fours.

Sales were relatively slow, with just over 100 built per year for five years, 583 were built in total. Today, they are among the most collected superbikes of the era.

The MV Agusta 750S you see here is a 1974 model, the penultimate year of production. It’s finished in the company’s classic red/blue/white livery.

Perhaps most interestingly, it was recently restored to concours condition by none other than Giovanni Magni – the son of Arturo Magni, who was Race Director for MV Agusta throughout the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

It is to be auctioned live online, with bidding starting in four days at the time of writing. If you want to see more, learn more or register to bid you can see the list here.

Price, features, engine, etc. compared

The KTM ADV 390 and the Royal Enfield Himalayan represent different aspects of the dual-sport motorcycle segment. While the former is all about performance and excitement, the latter, with its long-stroke engine, is more about soaking up the intricacies of travel. Regardless, both are capable dirt bikes with body designs that won’t make them look out of place in rural and off-road environments.

88386381-2 2022 KTM ADV 390.

With the 2022 updates, KTM managed to fix some crucial issues with the 390 Adventure and also increased its appeal quotient. The Royal Enfield Himalayan, on the other hand, has received periodic updates over the years, but none so far for this year. So overall, both adventure bikes are in their final iterations. And if you’re in the market looking for a budget ADV, which one should you choose? We try to find out in the comparison below.

2022 KTM 390 Adventure vs 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan: Dimensions and Design

88386381-2 2022 KTM ADV 390 vs Royal Enfield Himalaya Rear Profile

Both in terms of dimensions and design, the KTM 390 Adventure and the Royal Enfield Himalayan have remained exactly the same. However, the 2022 BC 390 gets two new color options – KTM Factory Racing Blue and Dark Galvano Black, and the Royal Enfield Himalayan gets two-tone and solid color options – Pine Green and Granite Black. The 2022 ADV 390 continues with the trellis frame, which is directly derived from their proven KTM 450 RALLY motorcycle. The Royal Enfield Himalayan is built around a half-duplex split-cradle frame.

2022 KTM ADV 390 Royal Enfield Himalayan
Dry weight 162 kilograms 199 kilograms
Total length 2154 millimeters 2190 millimeters
Width 900 millimeters 840 millimeters
Height 1400 millimeters 1370 millimeters
Wheelbase 1430 millimeters 1465 millimeters
Ground clearance 200 millimeters 220 millimeters
Fuel capacity 14.5 liters 15 liters

From the table above, it can be noted that both motorcycles are almost similar in size. But the Himalayan gets a longer wheelbase, more ground clearance and a bigger fuel tank. The KTM ADV 390 may have a taller seat height, but its lightweight frame makes it easier to corner, compared to the Himalayas.

2022 KTM 390 Adventure vs 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan: Suspension and Braking

Both motorcycles also remain unchanged in this aspect. While the 2022 KTM ADV 390 uses a 43mm inverted WP APEX fork suspension for the front and a single-shock WP APEX shock for the rear. The Royal Himalayan uses conventional 41mm long telescopic forks with 200mm of travel up front, and a similar monoshock shock for the rear wheels, with 150mm of travel.

88386381-2 RE Himalaya vs KTM ADV 390

Regarding their respective braking functions, the motorcycle uses disc brakes for the front and rear wheels. But the KTM ADV 390 gets bigger 320mm rotors up front, compared to the Himalayan 300mm disc brakes. And the latter additionally gets slightly larger 240mm rear disc brakes, compared to the KTM ADV 390s 240mm rear disc brakes.

2022 KTM 390 Adventure vs 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan: Engine and transmission

The 2022 KTM ADV 390 continues to use the same 373.2 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine that produces 43 hp and 37 Nm of torque. Its transmission is ensured by a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and directional bi-Quickshifter for gear changes without clutch.

88386381-2 RE Himalayan engine vs KTM ADV 390 engine

As for the Himalayan, it is powered by an air-cooled 411cc SOHC single-cylinder engine that produces 24.2hp of power and 32Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed gearbox, without any assistance.

2022 KTM ADV 390 Royal Enfield Himalayan
Type of engine Single cylinder engine, 4 stroke, 4v, DOHC Single cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC
Engine capacity 373cc 411 cc
maximum energy 42.3 hp at 9000 rpm 24.3 hp at 6,500 rpm
Maximum torque 37 Nm at 7000 rpm 32 [email protected] rpm
Transmission 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch and two-way gear selector 5-speed gearbox

From the chart above, it’s pretty obvious that the KTM ADV 390 is the most powerful motorcycle in the segment. It is also technologically more advanced than the Royal Enfield Himalayan.

2022 KTM 390 Adventure vs 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan: Features

The 2022 KTM ADV 390 is loaded with features. For starters, it gets traction control with street and off-road mode, a TFT display, LED headlights and taillights, IMU-based cornering ABS, and a lever fast speeds too.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan, meanwhile, gets a tripper that displays turn-by-turn navigation and also connects to your phone via Bluetooth. There is also a digital compass on the instrument cluster for navigation purposes. Other than that, both bikes benefit from dual-channel ABS, but unlike the Himalayan, the ADV 390 can turn off ABS on the rear wheel, for even more fun gliding over loose gravel surfaces. .

2022 KTM 390 Adventure vs 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan: Price

88386381-2 KTM ADV 390.

The KTM ADV 390 starts from ₹3,34,895 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the Royal Enfield Himalayan starts at ₹2,14,501 with the standard variant. The price difference can be significant, but for the extra money the KTM ADV 390 surely makes up for it with the added features that also improve the ride quotient. But if you want a simple ADV, Himalaya fits the bill perfectly.

Royal Enfield is making a small price adjustment on these bikes. Control List

Royal Enfield have announced a price hike on the Classic 350 and 650cc duo; Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 models, in India. The Classic 350cc which was launched at ₹1.84 lakh (ex-showroom) will now cost ₹1.90 lakh (old showroom). The top variant under the 350cc now costs ₹2.21,000. The upward price trend was seen across the automotive sector.

The Chennai-based company did not disclose the reason for the move, but could be related to input costs and prolonged shortages of semiconductors.

The Royal Enfield 650 series has a price revision of approximately ₹3,000 to ₹5,000. With the new price revision, the price of Interceptor starts at ₹2.88 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹3.15 lakh (old showroom). The price of the Continental GT now fluctuates between ₹3.06 lakh (ex-showroom) at ₹3.22 lakh (old showroom).

Prior to this, Royal Enfield had made some changes to the Meteor 350 and Himalayan bikes due to semiconductor issues. The company has removed the Tripper navigation module which is now available as an accessory which will be priced separately.
